Description
The Youth of India Foundation, born out of the innovative spirit of the Youth of Siliguri in 2015, has blossomed into a recognized force for youth empowerment and social change. Our journey began with a simple "N.O." being transformed into a "New Opportunity" – a philosophy that continues to drive our mission.
Our dedication to youth engagement, skill development, and sustainable solutions has earned us numerous accolades:
1. Top 5 World's Best Campaign by the UN for our "The Pocket Money Campaign" for Nepal relief
2. Special accreditation by the United Nations for our contributions to various global initiatives
3. Featured at the World's First Climate Action Summit in the UN General Assembly for our "UnPlastic India" initiative
4. Invitation from the Deputy Prime Minister of Spain to participate in the Green Hydrogen Assembly and launch the World's First Youth Declaration on Green Hydrogen
5. Endorsement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji in "Mann Ki Baat" updates.
We strive to Engage, Empower, and Evolve the youth of India through our various programs.
We focus on:
1. Renewable Energy: Championing "Youth for Green Hydrogen" to decarbonize the future
2. Rural Livelihood: Amplifying rural voices with initiatives like "UnPlastic India" and "Kulhad" to empower local communities
3. Education: Equipping young minds through scholarship programs, skilling initiatives, and the "G.R.E.E.N. School" project
4. Community Mobilization: Fostering active citizenship through campaigns like "The Pocket Money Campaign", "Share One Plant One", "The Gandhi Talks" and "Youth Ki Baat."
