Rajsamand Jan Vikas Sansthan, is also known as RJVS, is a non-profit organization established in 2003 with an aim to serve the rural populations, especially women and girls. We are a leading grass-root NGO in this area having vast network and have engaged with women on issues related to their rights, gender-based violence, education of girls, participation in the village development process, the building of civic and political leadership of women, prevention and mitigation of early / child marriages, livelihood activities, lobbying, advocacy, networking, and research.
RJVS also has an associated women's group called Rajsamand Mahila Manch (RMM). This is an unregistered membership organization with over 9000 women members. RMM operates an "all women court" for family counseling for survivors of violence, delivery of justice and supports / executes all activities of RJVS related to lobbying and advocacy.
