Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh was established in 1971 by Modern Public School Education Society (Regd.) with the avowed object of serving the cause of education in the NCT of Delhi, particularly in Shalimar Bagh and neighbouring areas. It had a modest beginning in a residential building in Ashok Vihar and it is heartening to note that, the school has a successful track record in imparting education since 1971.
From its roots in a small building in beginning, then starting from tents in new campus in Shalimar Bagh. the school has come a long way.
The Alumni Association of the school was formed in the year 2007. Numerous other achievements have come in the way of school since that time.
