The promoters of HKI are from the popular and well known 'Savadi' family, pioneer in yarn trade. One of their ancestors built a roadside inn (Savadi, also known as 'Chathiram' in tamil) at Ekambara kuppam, Andra Pradesh and made it available to the travelers free of cost.
