This unit was taken over from Govt of Karnataka (joint venture of HMT and GoK), Which was earlier known as chamundi machine tools. ASKAR MECHATRONICS SYSTEMS PVT LTD (AMS) is involved in machining of heavy engineering components also this unit lifted Askar Group.

Askar are specialist in producing precision heavy engineering components & parts, specialize in contract manufacturing of heavy engineering metal components & parts with a close manufacturing tolerance as per customer drawings and requirement starting from casting procurement to finished product. Askar also takes machining job work of heavy engineering metal components & parts.
