A café is a melting pot of culture, cuisine and conversations. Cafes are where connections happen. Cafes are where memories are created, of meeting friends, partners and sometimes even soul mates. As an adolescent, I loved the idea of being surrounded by my friends and having a hearty meal in the most upbeat cafes around our city. As an author, I d say cafes have been my haven for creativity, as a good part of my first book was penned sipping "cutting chai" at my favourite café in Mumbai. So cafes are as much about creativity too!

You will find my books are all titled "People's Kafe". In many ways, my stories are synonymous with the ethos of a café. They are my memoires about people, their aspirations, motivations and emotions. It's my way of connecting the humane side of people. My works will take you through a journey of self-exploration and rejuvenation, just the way those quaint cafes that were part of my journey, made me a connoisseur of life.
