The Bank was established on 20th August 1973. Presently bank is serving the population of rural Ares of District Kurukshetra its Network of 27branches & two Extension Counter. In spite of dependence on nature and odds of the topography of district Kurukshetra, the agriculture industry has a sufficient and unrestricted input of financial help from the bank. The accumulation of funds is increasing. The own funds, public deposits and refinance from NABARD are main sources of funds collection. The funds are deployed in agriculture, industrial, public distribution system, Kisan Credit Card, SHG's, Govt. Sponsored programs, transport, and housing and in other farms and non-farms sectors. All the cooperative and non-cooperative sectors are covered by the bank credit schemes.
